This research and analysis document describes the Academical Village landscape evolution that has become a highly significant cultural resource that contributes to the outstanding universal value of this National Historic Landmark (1971) and World Heritage Site (1987). The CLR study area conforms to the boundaries of the original Academical Village, the historic core of the contemporary University, consisting of approximately 45.1 acres bounded on the north by University Avenue, south by Jefferson Park Avenue, east by   Hospital Drive, and west by McCormick Road.
